Diaryland is da bomb I just *have* to tell you how much this all sucks. Who're these other people he's writing about? Who's the freak writing this, anyway? What's gone before. What's going on right now? Where do *you* visit on the web? What're you building right now?

Another smart-assed remark from Mike
Go ahead, infantilize me!
15:00:00 on 2006-12-15

Today I saw this post in Aaron Swartz's blog about working at Google, and his assertion that Google "infantalizes" their employees so they never have to grow up. Of course, I (like many others) hold Google up as an example of this wonderful place to be an employee, while we wither away in our own jobs.

Now, he's a good kid and all, but I have to agree with some of the suggestions that he's just a tad bit depressed: believe me, I know one when I see one. But what really cheered me up was what one anonymous commenter had to say.

As one who has undergone the negative transformation that this lady's husband also underwent, I feel like maybe there's hope out there somewhere.
