A lot has happened. Marilynn's hurt her other leg, so we're trying to deal with that. My computer died (capacitors on the motherboard shot to hell), so I had to build out a new Athlon 64 box (with Windows XP... yeargh!). Work is very stressful, because we're stretched as thin and tight as a drumhead and now people are playing petty political games — I am wanting to just find another work situation and get out, but from looking briefly that's not in the cards just yet.

Last, but not least by any stretch, my mother has a very, very serious health issue going on right now, and this is right after her bout with breast cancer. This is a very poor portent for the future, and it's consuming a lot of my attention right now. I wish I could waive a magic wand and make it better.
